Yeah im somewhat familiar with the area, everything makes sense now lol, i should of looked it up before saying anything but that didnt happen lol. I wasn't trying to attack ya or anything just thought thats what i heard but, thats cool you get to hunt there, barely any pressure tons of deer, thats gotta be nice. Nice buck by the way! i havent been out much lately, going out saturday they cut down this big corn field i normally hunt over, my dad has already seen about 15 deer in it in this last week, so im hoping to bag a buck this weekend.

Got a decent 8 point with the bow on Oct 30th -what a great time of year to hunt! In gun season I filled 2 doe tags at a friends place. It was the shortest hunt ever. I sat down, took off my gloves to get situated, looked up and saw deer legs in the thicket (it's very thick where I was.) The first one came in and the H&R Ultra Slug dropped her. The second one didn't seem to know what was going on and eventually walked into a shooting lane. Heart shot.

This is my very first post on D&DH. Most of the time I'm on Mich Sportsman Forum.  Hope I can post a pic here.

Shot Nov. 15th in Eaton County.
We watched this buck for 3 years and have his right side sheds from his previous 3 racks.  We're 99% sure he was 5.5.

DeerCamp,
I have nothing official yet.  Actually today is the end of the 60 day drying period.  My preliminary score was 158ish gross and he'll net closer to 151ish.  He was a 140 class 2 yrs ago as a 3.5 yo and last year he was 150ish.

This buck from Nov. 15th, 2006 grossed 158 3/4 and nets 151 3/4 as a 3.5 yo.  My neighbor has complete sets of sheds from this buck.
