Which Food Source?

I need some advice on what areas to concentrate on on an upcoming hunting trip. We will be bowhunting on public land near Stephenson (Menominee County, U.P.) during the first week of November. We will be spending the first day of our trip scouting and setting up stands. My question is which of the following food sources should we concentrate on: oak stands (acorns); public land surrounded by farmland; or areas that have been recently logged? Thanks in advance! Hey pmsmith, here are my thoughts on the subject. I'd all but forget the oaks (as a food source), that far north acorns should be pretty much done and over. I'd look most heavily for funnels and / or travel routes around those farm fields. By November, bucks could very well be starting to search for does. If you can find an area between feeding and bedding or between two bedding areas I'd go all in.
