Scent Killer clothes wash?

I put some of this liquid scent killer clothes wash, in a old scent killer spray bottle with water.  I used it on a old hunting hat, and it seemed to really cut the human scent down.

I'm still testing it, but I think it works similar to the actual scent killer spray, and its alot cheaper. 

I bought a ton of scent killer spray so far....

I'd really like to know what makes the two products different, when used as a scent killing spray?
