I use a unit for business once in a while to get rid of dead critter odors in a chimney/fireplace.

I put the unit in the room where my clothes and equipment is located. It seems to get rid of odors but I have no scientific research to back it up. I have had good luck out of a ground blind not being winded (as far as I know).

To have some kind of unit out in the field with me does not seem to be real practical. I would assume it makes some kind of noise?
