New Lease!

Well, my brother and I have secured a 200 acre lease by Hinckley, MN.  $1,000 for 12 months.  We'll see how it goes.  Potential to buy, but I don't have the scratch for that.
 
I am excited since it's only an hour from my house.  My current main spot is my in-laws farm (3 hours away).
 
We got everything all signed just a few weeks ago, but quickly set up 2 stand sets.  Each set has a ladder stand and hang on stand in the same tree.  We are hoping to film and/or bring our young children along.
 
I'll be hunting it for the first time this weekend.

Good luck!  I drive up 35 and take the Hinckley exit to our cabin....I always see deer in the fields along 35 up there. You'll do great!

I hunted the new property this last weekend...Saturday and Sunday evenings.  I had does within range both times, so that is very encouraging.  We had minimal time to scout and hang stands.
 
I realize I need to trim some more shooting lanes.  I also need to get familiar with my new climber stand.  Lots of potential spots once I figure it out!
