I would suggest using a fawn bleat call. Not necessarily a distress call, though. As effective as they are, if a doe comes to a fawn distress, it will be in a mad frenzy. A regular fawn bleat, doe bleat, or doe grunt (pretty much the same as a young buck grunt) would be my top choices.
