any success

Postby Retranger » Thu Oct 17, 2013 9:28 am

Archery and turkey season is now about over as muzzle loader opens this Saturday. Anybody have any success?? I did not have any luck on either, but came close. I did get to draw on a nice doe when I was in my ladder stand but couldn’t get to full draw. As I started the draw she looked at me and pinned me down. I couldn’t move without being busted and she just walked away. Here is a pic from trail cam set up at ladder stand. I was not there that day.

I saw your pic when you posted,,,,some good eating!!!! What part of southern tier are you? I started my career in Windham, Greene county but had to get back up north.

Deer season over for me even though the reg gun season started this past week end. Hope to be heading south and wouldn't have time to take care of meat if I got a deer now. Did just finished a batch of snack sticks, they will be in the smoker tomorrow. MS surprise you don't do your own. Not hard to process the deer and snack sticks and sausage real easy. ;)
