I picked up a flier at Gander Mt and Charles Alsheimer will be Speaking at the Victory Baptist Church @ 32 Wildbriar Road (off East Henrietta Rd) , Henrietta , NY on February 17 ,2009 6 pm - 9:30 . They printed a bunch of fliers with the wrong year on it . I called to verify the 2009 date .
Call 585-334-8524 to reserve seats . They serve a meal and suggest a $10 donation per person .

I've been to one of Charlies speaking engagements before.  In fact, I think it was the same place.  This was at least 5 years ago.  The meal was a killer venison stew. 

When I saw him, he talked for about 30 to 45 minutes on deer and their rutting behavior.  He supplemented this with some great photography.  The last hour of his presentation was a series of life lessons and personal "uplifting" stories.  It was a tad "preachy" for my taste but very well done none-the-less.

I have heard Charlie talk at least 3 times at various places . Here is a pic of my oldest son with Charles Alsheimer taken

Even though I couldn't go, I appreciate the post of Alsheimer's event. Whenever he's in my area I go -- unless my own schedule conflicts. He's the best.
