Has the smoke cleared so you can see what you shot yet?
I'll be out tomorrow afternoon and I'll leave some of my stuff right on my stand cause I'll pop back in the same place Sun. morn. Less to carry back in and set up. Hopefully they are moving. I haven't been out since last Mon. Froze twice now and it ain't enjoyable to be there. Looks nice for this weekend, more bearable.
There's nothing like being in the outdoors. Work is boring!

Well I got to camp in time for an afternoon hunt....kicked up a fawn and doe on the way to stand ...no shot...found out that all stands had a layer of ice ...but with extra time I got set up...not a single sighting....next      a.m. Iwent out at six and hiked a mile to the stand I got my 6pt out of.....night let another layer of ice every where [&o] I sat until 10:30 and had a doe come in but past an easy shot on her...hoping the buck was near....went back to camp for a break at 12:30 ...took a bad fall on the ice just before camp...landed on my gun which was shouldered...thank god primer was out ....I shot it at 50yrds and the scopes messed up...thought I'd cracked lens I hit so hard.....pain killers ...heating pads and rest...I'm down for today and probably tomorrow......Oh well woke up at camp this a.m. to 8in. of snow...left the guys to hunt at camp...hope Mr. B gets that buck.....he hasn't got a deer yet....
