Hunted sat am saw nothing. Sunday pm saw two does at 7:15 it was raining acorns the whole time I was there.  Checked my camera and what I thought was one 8 pt. I've been watching turned out to be three different bucks. Ready to go back! Trumbull county.

Just got in from this mornings hunt, little breezy but not terrible didn't see any deer during daylight. Had some walk across the creek before daylight, and some does coming out of the beans when I pulled into the drive at 5:00 this morning. I might make it out tonight if not be at it again in the morning.

Went out tonight for first time. Didn't see anything but a few squirrels. Kinda windy but nice to be back in the woods. Probably won't go back out till Fri. night. Good luck to everyone.

I'm hoping to get out Friday evening also but I just checked the weather and it doesn't look good.  Sat. and Sunday don't look bad though.

Headed out to the farm that is being logged yesterday evening, Had 5 does come through around 6:15, couldn't get a shot at either of the adults. Saw a decent buck and several does out feeding in mowed field several hundred yds away, right at dark.

Went out last Saturday evening. Saw 4 point step out of the corn right at last few minutes of legal shooting time and bedded down 30 yards in front of me in a thicket. I hope I got out quiet enough...Sunday evening no deer, but saw 10 turkeys!! Good luck all and be safe! This weekend changing farms here in NW OH.BHB

Headed back out to the logged farm this morning with my climber. More to do some observing than hunting, but I did bring along the bow. I sat up on the edge of one of the fresh cuts to see how or if the deer were using them. The logging crews had just moved out last week, to my suprise several does came in from the fields to bed in the tree tops and could see what looked to be a couple 1.5 year old bucks working the other edge of the clear cut before heading on down the ravine towards some oaks. Now I know where they are coming and going in this new cut, hopefully I can take advantage of it. Don't know when I'll get back out probably sometime this weekend.

Went out Wed. eve', passed on a small 6 pntr. (toothpick rack). It doesn't seem like the bucks are in groups anymore. Every buck I've seen has been solo. I tried to rattle and grunt a buck in the distance, but he didn't want to fight. What are the rest of you seeing.
