Haven't been out to look yet.  Plan on going out the weekend of Feb. 21-22 to do some scouting and shed hunting.  Also, we need to do some SERIOUS cleaning up after the recent ice storm.  Our land & trails are a mess!

I was out most of the day yesterday looking for sheds with no luck, I found one dead doe ( hit by car), a cell phone and an arrow I lost about 5 years ago when it deflected off a tree branch.

ImageImage Where do you guys & girls (my wife hunts too) find most of your sheds?  I've looked around half heartedly in the past,  but my wife and I are going to take it more seriously this year.  I wondered if you just pick up a trail, check the beds, or food sources?  Let me know,  thanx.

I look everywhere you've mentioned, but I  have the most luck around the edges of food sources, bean fields, alfalfa or clover.  I look around corn fields when I have a lot of time because you have to be very thorough.
