Ohio Sheds

Any sheds being found yet??  Saw three bucks Saturday the  Feb.7 all still had racks.

[font=tahoma]Haven't been out to look yet.  Plan on going out the weekend of Feb. 21-22 to do some scouting and shed hunting.  Also, we need to do some SERIOUS cleaning up after the recent ice storm.  Our land & trails are a mess![/font]

It's a mess here to, trees and tree limbs all over the place, Ill start hunting sheds in about two weeks.

Saw a couple of bucks on sunday the 8th of feb. .  Not planning to check for sheds for another week or 2 at least.

Talked to a guy yesterday that just checked his trail cam had pics of 9 decent bucks all of them still had their racks but he said the small bucks had dropped them. Also a buddy found a shed saturday 4 pt. with a 9 in. g2.

I was out most of the day yesterday looking for sheds with no luck, I found one dead doe ( hit by car), a cell phone and an arrow I lost about 5 years ago when it deflected off a tree branch.

 Where do you guys & girls (my wife hunts too) find most of your sheds?  I've looked around half heartedly in the past,  but my wife and I are going to take it more seriously this year.  I wondered if you just pick up a trail, check the beds, or food sources?  Let me know,  thanx.

I look everywhere you've mentioned, but I  have the most luck around the edges of food sources, bean fields, alfalfa or clover.  I look around corn fields when I have a lot of time because you have to be very thorough.
