LATE SEASON HUNTING

I know that deer start "yarding" in the late part of the season.  I'm wondering if the deer use different sections of the "yarding" area every couple of days?  It may be a built in instinct so they don't over browse the area.  I've noticed, last year and this year, that they show up for a couple of days and then-- gone.  I saw tracks sat. and sun., I put a cam out sunday afternoon on a heavy trail , and now on tues., no pictures yet. 
 
Anybody have any thoughts on this idea?

Late season hunting is for the dedicatedl hunter.  Usually, the weather is bad and you see few deer since they are in groups.  However, the weather was great this year for the late muzzleloader season.  I saw several deer but didn't kill one.  I was still in the woods during January but didn't get a shot then either.  It is not easy to find the deer that late.  My luck came early; I got a small  buck during the gun season.
