Cleveland

Postby Sailfish » Mon Mar 09, 2009 3:08 pm

I was approx 10 miles outside of downtown Cleveland today (I think near Parma??)
Anyways alongside the road on a major thoroughfare, in town, in an abandon yard I saw a herd of deer feeding around dusk.

You guys have it so easy up here [:D]

Sailfish,
I grew up in that area. I can remember seeing deer from time to time. Specifically, I remember my mother almost hitting a small herd in her car while driving down a primary road near a shopping center just after sunset. The last place anyone would have expected to see any deer.

I took a side trip to BPS in Rosswood.
On the way back I saw an true Ohio bruiser feeding.
Easy guess he was a 200#!!
Easily in the top 2 of biggest alive bucks I have seen.

If I could only see one of those down here [:(]
