I live in Guernsey county, but hunt in Guernsey, Noble and Muskingum counties, hunt with a compound (Sterner Duttera Rhino 27) and do some shotgun hunting but mostly bow, good luck to all u buckeyes this season

I didn't see anyone from the southwest, so I thought I'd join and give a shout out.  I bowhunt in Hamilton and Miami counties (Cincinnati and north of Dayton, respectively).  Tagged my first deer - a button buck- last year north of Dayton.  Down in Cincy, I hunt in the urban zone, where I tagged a doe last year as well.  No luck this year yet.

Cool, I hunt a farm just a bit south of that; a few miles east of Tipp City and a few south of Troy.

New Member and also from SW. I live in Butler but hunt Hamilton and Clermont Counties. Friend and I both got 5 pointers in early November hunting private land in Hamilton Co.. We are looking to take does before the season ends. We are bow only and you won't catch me in the woods during gun season. Too many amateurs!

I'm joining the party late, but wanted to respond.  I'm from Lake county in North East Ohio.  I hunt Lake county only.  I don't need to hunt any place else, got it all right here.

[font=tahoma]Welcome JBOW1406 - I'm from Columbus as well.  I don't know about you, but I have been seeing a lot of deer within the city limits this year.  On Friday night, around 2:00 am, I was headed south on 315, and I almost hit a monster buck with my truck.  He was on the west side of 315 just south of Antrim Lake.  Started to cross and then changed his mind.  Been thinking about taking my bow and sitting in Antrim Park.  Wonder if the joggers & bikers would mind...[/font]

I'm a Buckeye, but I do most of my hunting  in SW Bracken County, KY at the family farm.

During the week, I'm up on the north side of Cincinnati.   The deer are thick around here- we live in spitting distance of two Hamilton County parks, Winton Woods and Glenwoods Gardens.  I wish they'd let me put up a stand in my front yard.

I hunted for years in Hocking Hills and then over in Clermont County on the Trusty Pines Campground property.
