NE Ohio corn/soybean planting with spring rain

With all the rain this spring just got the corn planted last week and the beans yesterday. How has the weather impacted planting for others in Ohio. Are you worried about the late planting?

Soybeans harvested yesterday, but the corn is still standing. How is everyone else fairing?

We have all corn around us this year. And with all the rain, Were going to have corn around us for quite a while.
going to be a differant hunt for us this year as this is the first year this has happend since we have been hunting this area.
Just hope the farmer to our south who has 200 acres of corn will get his out sooner then later. So we will have the only corn
around.

Well the 200 acre corn field is still there, Was hopeing it would be gone for the shotgun opener. seems most of the deer in our area are
in this corn field. It has been very wet lately so I doubt it will be cut anytime soon.
After dark the deer just pour out of the corn, this has realy messed up our hunting. Most of the deer we have killed have came from
the corn onto our property.
I noticed the harvest numbers in Ohio are down over 10k from last year. I have to believe its from all the standing corn.
Should make for some good late seasone hunting I hope. Good luck everyone.

Our corn came down last week along with all the neighbors. Looks like rain in NE Ohio first 3 days of gun. Nuts...
