Are grim reaper mechanical broadheads a good choice?

I have a friend that uses them and loves em. I am gonna try the Blood Runners this year just for the fact that even if they don't open they will still leave a 1" hole. I was shooting G5 Strikers and they are only 1 1/8". They are a great broadhead, but I would like a bigger hole/more blood.

I use cut on contact blades like 3 Rivers and Razor Caps with great sucess. But I have been reading about the Grim Reapers and I have a couple in my quiver and I plan trying them.
