Is it illegal to not wear hunter's orange while deer hunting with a gun in Maryland? If so, what are the consequences?

Not sure but i'd imagine it is illegal. Most states have minimum requirements for orange during firearms season. You may want to check out the Maryland state department of natural resources homepage for the specifics. Mostly likely you'd get fined if you were caught not meeting the requirements for orange, or worse yet, you could get shot at by some yahoo who doesn't verify their target before shooting.
