It might be interesting if they were moons instead of stars. We could have the moon phases - new moon, 1st quarter, half moon, third quarter and full moon. It would relate to the rut. 'Course, if they were moons they might be interpreted another way. [:o]

The stars simply denote your level of involvement on the forum. There are preset gates, as your number of posts increase and you reach a gate, your member status increases. Soon you'll be a senior member with 4 stars, then a super member with 5 stars.
