NOpe but oddly enough saw my first buck rub of the year yesterday.....fresh blood, I thought it was to early yet....I heard they wil/ rub if their heads itch...

I have a trail cam pic of an 8 point both in velvet and after. I have to resize them tho

I got a video of a buck that was in the middle of shedding his velvet.He's so close to the camera the video isn't very good, but I was able to capture a screen shot that shows antlers with velvet hanging off them. Here it is:

Kinda neat. When the video started he had his nose just an inch or two from the camera.

Saw a 8 and 9 pointer together, with velvet shed, and antlers still deep red with blood stains on September 10. Right around the beginning of September seems about normal for this area (western NY state). Saw them again last weekend, and the antlers were no longer blood stained, so they must have been freshly shed just before or right on the 10th.
