Some days the temps will push the upper 90's and lower 100's. But then again, by the end of the season in January, we'll still have days when the temps might be in the upper 80's and lower 90's. We've run the air conditioning on Christmas many, many years. Don't get me wrong, we might have an occasional day when the temps don't get above 40, but those aren't very common, until after deer season is over. When the season first opens on Aug. 15th. we usually will only run the dogs first thing in the morning, which means being in the swamp by 7:00, and out by noon. It's not until the end of September that we turn them loose again in the early afternoon. Then it's a late afternoon sit over a food plot with the rifle until dark (we can legally hunt from one hour before sun-up, 'til one hour after sun-down).
