it depends.if it is a basket rack buck let it go.but anything that as mass and a little wide take it.

I really does not matter to me on number of points,i just try to kill a mature deer ,i dont like to kill babies,if i want meat we kill does not small bucks. but that does'nt stop my neighbors, one them told me he had shot a small three point because it had holes in his horns,i thought to myseft ,it would not have them next year as they shed for new ones.

BIGGER THAN THE ONES I HAVE ON THE WALL. I LOOK FOR SCORE NOT NUMBER OF POINTS. I KILLED MY BIGGEST BUCK EVER LAST YEAR, SCORED 138" SO ANYTHING BIGGER THAN THAT I'M SHOOTIN.

Last year I killed about a 125". Each year I try to work up to a bigger buck. So probably anything bigger than that.

Im hoping to shoot a buck that is 3 1/2 years old or older this year. I will have to get better at judging age and have the patience to hold off on those 2 1/2 year olds that have decent racks...last year I shot an 8 pt that looked a lot bigger from the tree than he did on the ground. Still proud of him, but I hope to avoid doing that again.
