9 Point

Postby oletimer » Tue Nov 06, 2012 10:11 pm

Well did manage to find a nice 9 point this morning. Been a crazy muzzleloader season so far. Had not seen a doe since Sat. until after I shot this guy. Guess they are either with their boyfriend or hiding from the boys. Years ago while bow hunting I watched a doe go down on her knees and got as low as she could as a buck approached. Once he passed she got back up and went the other way. I'd get tired of being chased all over the place too.

Thanks Jslotter. Still no does and we have earn a buck here. So I need take one in case I do run into a booner. This morning saw 4 bucks and a flock of turkeys. No does ??
The one I thought was a doe may not have been. Really did not look too hard since I had the 9 point down. Did not see any head dressing. When I think about it acted more like a stupid young buck.
