I'll start it out with the buck I got on the last day of gun season this year. Nice basket rack 8 pointer, I'm proud of him!

Thanks dairy, it was a good day. Two years in a row I got a buck on Nov. 5th, actually. Congrats to you as well. I read elsewhere you got him on public land. Any deer on public land on the last day of nine-day is impressive. Making it an eight point buck just increases the accomplishment, IMO.

I appreciate the kind words pgchambers, I was fortunate to get two deer this year on public land. I got a nice doe on opening morning, and this buck on the last day of season. We hunt hard and I am tickled with the deer I got this year. Every deer is exciting to me, this one having antlers is just a bonus.
