Deer Management Unit Specific Information & Survey

Postby wurzgj01 » Thu Mar 08, 2012 10:28 pm

Deer Management Unit (DMU) specific information & survey. This survey is off the WI DNR website. It's pretty simple. Once you enter the website (survey), click on the DMU you live or hunt and read all the information the WI-DNR has provided. When finished, go back and answer the questions on the survey.

Completed the survey, lot of good it will do. Any time a hunter says the deer herd is too low the DNR simply disregards it anyway.

I don't honestly think they disregard it. They have to, by law, manage to a specific number.

Now, with their hands tied even more, they will need to keep the areas that are low in population artificially low because they can't use EAB in the units that are largely over populated. It's how the government works. They write poorly thought out laws and regulations that benefit one group or another so as not to disenfranchise them that ends up disenfranchising all the other groups and the general public.
