I want to hear about everyone's successes and mistakes that happened when they were rattling.
I found that smaller bucks come in well to rattling in Pierce County(at least in my area).
I rattled in a bigger, nicer buck 2 years ago in late November. This morning I rattle in a pretty nice buck, but he went circled down wind of me and was outta there.
I've heard that it's usually the younger bucks who respond to rattling during the pre-rut, the 3 and 4 yr olds during the peak rut, and the big 5 and 6 yr olds during the post rut. Maybe that's why I haven't had any big guys come in yet.
Anyway, I would appreciate it if everyone would post their rough location and their rattling experiences.
Thanks and happy hunting.
