Snowmobiler's run down and slaughter 5 deer!!!

Three guys from Weyauwega..First guy 22 years old....$15,000.00 signature bond, charged on 5 counts of mistreatment of animals resulting in death. Each count has a max sentance of 3.5 years in prison. He also banned from using or possessing a snowmobile, and is to have no contact with the other two expected defendants.

They were apprehended after a tip to Crime Stoppers. The State an local snowmobile clubs raised nearly $15,000.00 in reward money.

Thanks for the update.  You would think that after you literally got away with murder the first time that you would change your tune.  Hopefully the DA doesn't offer a plea deal and then takes them to court and they get whats coming to them.

I understand that one is innocent until proven guilty. But, I don't think a change of venue is called for. There has got to be 12 individuals in that county that don't have more than a passing understanding of this case thus far.

I don't think there's anywhere in the state that hasn't heard about the case, it's not going to help him. I just wish they'd stop dragging there feet on the hit and run charges, the victims family could use some closure more than this deer slaughter case. They'll have to wait til this circus is over. That's sad.
