Ya der hey, been corousen here for awhile, figgered to post.

Ain't the doe number seem a bit atta wack?  My figures tell me the doe harvest was 2nd highest all time.

maybe it's cause the DNR put out the warning of earna buck to so many units last year.  Ya hunters got worried an shot too many doe[8|]

OHHunter you were asking about previous years harvest totals. Using the Wisconsin DNR web page it shows that the 08 season was the lowest harvest amount in the last five seasons.

2007: 518,573 total, 171,293 antlered, 345,143 anterless and 2,288 unknown.

2006: 506,947 total, 177,293 antlr, 326,065 antrless and 3,589 unknown

2005: 465,760 total, 183,557 antlr, 275, 762 antrless and 6,441 unknown

2004: 517,169 total, 166,813 antlr, 350,177 antlress and 179 unknown
Of course this is hard. It's supposed to be hard, thats what makes it great. If it was easy everyone would do it!
