I have noticed when i am sitting in the treestand it will rub the tree from time to time but its nothing to worry about. I stand up to shoot either way and its not an issue then. I think the legitimacy of the DNR's argument is valid in that it makes the finding and arrest of trespassers much easier. In the end I actually like the tags. It is kind of a badge of honor that I hunt in Wisconsin.
