Changes to how hunting rules are made

In my time here I have often mentioned (sometimes chapter and verse) NR1 and NR10 and NR15. These chapters are portions of the Natural resources administrative code (which has the effect of law) The Administrative code has a direct effect on bowhunters and all sportsmen because it allows DNR employees to wield powers to create rules (Laws) that effect our hunting.

Administrative code allows unelected state employees to create laws outside the legislative process. Also, It should be noted that the bread and butter of the Conservation Congress is administrative rules since statutory matters are the preview of the legislature.

This broad rule making authority is a very powerful thing for departments like the DNR and can certainly be abused. I think that is about to change. Kudos to Governor Walker for understanding and setting about correcting this matter.

Now this is just a wild hunch but something tells me our new governor has read the book called "How the DNR stole Wisconsin" and is not happy with whats taking place.

Walker wastes no time. He killed the train (thank Gawd), now he's working on things like DNR and anti business out of control bureaucracy. He is a bull dog on this administrative rule reform. Alleluia!!!! He is on his way to be the greatest Governor of all time.

Retch, I hope you're right. Personally I'm a "show dont tell" guy, so let's just say I have cautious optimism that these changes will actually take place.
