More accountability, better customer service, DNR experts using science vs bureaucracy. It’s a beautiful thing. I would expect business and farmers and sportsmen to be pleased with a streamlined Dept and less bureaucracy. Kudos to the continued improvements to the DNR and for making government run more efficiently.

Now we know how much our PA friends hates actual facts and proof and information so he will complain about the links now preferring to deal in emotion and passion and opinion and speculation. I would rather see where the major (non-partisan) players come down on this. It seems its pretty well received. Kudos Gov. Walker. Now lets get concealed carry and voter I.D. laws passed. (that will really tick of the libs) Then, when you have some free time, lets talk crossbows.

I wonder if these organizations share the same law firms or lobbyists? Typical to ignore the mainstream public and difer to big business, To hell with the individual let well financed/lobbied organizations make the decisions. Just a guess but I'll bet these "indepedent" thinking organizations were also big $$$$ contributors to Walker's election. Money can & will buy anything!!! Any truth to the rumor Walker wants to change the state motto from "Forward" to "Show me the money"!!! Thanks for proving my point! Your almost too easy!!!

I've heard no talk of a motto change but the new slogan is "WI is open for business" Since the new Gov. took office, what has happened?

Your links are priceless. This is like taking candy from a baby!! With the DNR turning into a political fund raising arm for Walker and home to his political appointee's it will be interesting to see how the state rates in things IMPORTANT to hunters. It appears the hunters/sportsman of WI had better organize & fund raise in a hurry so they do not get lost in the political donation pecking order...I'm sure if they line the right pocket with $$$$ they too can get something done for the hunters/sportsman of WI. Take a page from the WBH book so to speak!! Somehow a state government developing a politically appointed and "for profit DNR" and "focused on the needs of business & industry" dose not bode well for hunters/fisherman & outdorsman..... Please keep the links coming.....
