2011 WI Trail Camera Pics

Getting pics of this guy since he was 2-1/2. We named him Sanford, because of all of the "junk" on his brows. I don't think he will make it past this year.

What kinds of baits are you guys using?

We put out a couple of Trophy Rocks earlier this summer(those things seem to last forever), and we also got a crazy deal on some Lucky Buck, so we tried it for the first time this year. Been using the Trophy Rocks for a few years now, so the deer are probably conditioned to them, but the Lucky Buck has been a pleasant surprise. The food plots are coming in nicely with the recent rain, so we are running out of the mineral just about the right time. The pic I posted is cool, because we have a pic of the same deer at the same stump late July 2010 as well.

How old do you estimate he is now? 3?

I think he is 4 1/2, because the pics we have from 2 years ago just does not seem to be a 1 1/2 yr old. I would love to leave him one more year, but I just don't think he will make it past the neighbors during the rifle & muzzleloader seasons. Plus he would easily be my best bow kill, so if I see him in bow range, I will try and take him.

This is a nine-pointer (one point is hidden) I have walking around my property. Any idea how old he is? The antlers seem pretty thin, not a lot of mass to them.

Just looking at the body of that buck I'd like to say he's 3 1/2 yrs old. His body just looks to big for a 2 1/2 yr old. Thats my guess anyway.
