When was that age, I shot bucks that nice or nicer every year ... and then I woke up!!

nicely done, nicely played. Keeping youngsters interested in this sport is key. I'm 55; my dad never was a hunter. Hunting with my son (30) is the greatest thrill for me.

Thanks umpiremike, the last few years for me has been all about my boys hunting. I setup spots with them in mind. I honestly could care less if I ever harvested a trophy deer again if I get to spend time teaching them. I hope they stay interested, I know how easy kids find other activities besides hunting. My oldest son took one buck when he was 13 and at hasn't taken another deer since. He will be 17 next month.
