You called in TWO deer in one year via rattling and you're disappointed? In Illinois that would be a successful score for FIVE seasons!!!

I rattled for years, and can only attest to having it work maybe 2 or 3 times. In my area, grunting seemed to work better.

Woods Walker, I wasn't concerned about the amount of deer rattled in. I was disapointed in the size of the bucks. I usually expect and do bring in bigger ones. I use grunting when I want to bring something in closer for a shot. I do mouth grunting, it is a big plus when your hands are full of bow and arrow and you want him a little closer or if he is walking away.
