What movies can teach you something about hunting?

Jeremiah Johnson, is a good start. with a old mountain man teaching a novice. Preditor, for the importance of camo and traps. The primcess Bride, when Prince Humperdink reads the prints of the fighters to recreate a battle he was not there to see. Silverado, on what a Henry rifle can do in the right hands. I learned to make snares from a scene in a movie, but I don't remember what movie it was. . What else comes to mind?

Mel Gibson's character in "Patriot", when he's setting up his boys for the ambush on the British column......

And then there's Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Predator".......

.THE GREEN BARRETS walk softly, and pay attention to details or you may get the pointy end of the stick.......THE BIG RED 1 Hide in plain sight, camo, and suprise. (That and don't hide under a tank tread, it's bad for you neck.

This opening scene from "The Last Of The Mohicans" is also a good lesson. It's a message that more of our TV hunting "personalities" should learn...........

Not a movie...but a cartoon. Good ol' coyote and the road runner. Teaches ya that all the fancy gadgets won't get the job done for you.

"Rounders".....that everyone, or in this case all animals, will have a "tell" and if you figure it out, you can outsmart them.

"Bambi".....that even if you shoot the doe, the fawn can grow up to be the biggest buck
