Deer hides

Hey gang, I used to take all of my deer hides to Berlin WI but that leather shop is now closed. The Oshkosh Fleet Farm gave me $3 credit last year, barely paid for the salt. I've got a buck that I skinned out today, where's the best place to take a hide?

I would try a taxidermy shop. I know the taxidermy I take my bucks to buy's hides.

Good idea. I have heard they need them to improve a mount or replace a damaged cape.

Fleet Farm will start taking them on OCT 22. $3 coupon, good on anything in the store except beer, smokes, and few other items. Can combine multiple coupons for one purchase. DONT bring the hides into the store - go to the gate shack or yard at most if not all stores.

Bill where do you live that the Fleet Farms sell beer and smokes?? lol.. Check craigslist there are allot of people who buy hides to make gloves out of, I see at least 4 signs every year for "Buying Deer Hides"
