Opening Day has arrived

It's opening day today. I'm babysitting my grandson tonight, but will be going out Sunday evening. Anyone see anything today?

I also am on the sidelines today,No tags yet so it hunting my land only, and My land is 4X4 only if the ground is wet! The rain killed my hunt. :(
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

My land has a gulley that must be crossed to go in or out. In wet weather it is like a roach motel, you can check in, but you can't check out!

HIt the woods at 3:30 and stayed till 30' after sunset. Saw an adult doe pass by at 40+ yards around 5:30. Handful of turkeys were nearby. Pleasant evening, but no cigar. Glad to get out.

Hunted this morning and got a big doe. My buddy did a rattling sequence and this doe charged out of a thicket looking for the source of the noise. I was about 125 yds away from him and the doe came past me and stopped broadside. Double lung hit...saw her fall.
My question is, since when do does come to rattling? I've never seen this behavior. Has anyone here??

Cant say I have ever seen a doe responed to rattleing, But i have had a mature buck responed to
a rabbit destress call while coyote hunting, Watched him come into the call from a 1oo yds.
