Has anyone ever used a 223 for deer hunting ,if so how did it do ?, and what kind of bullet,weight,type make ?
I thought it might be a little lite but with bullets now a days who knows?
Or should i just use it for coyotes?

minnesota allows the 223 for deer and fedral cartridge suggests 3 different loads 55grain barnes triple shock x-bullet, 60grain nosler partition, or 64grain softpoint. this is a light round so make sure your shots are accurate as all shots should be anyways.

I have a cousin who uses a 223 for deer. I don't know what load, but have no doubt, it will do the job.
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.
