"Go afield with a good attitude, with respect for the wildlife you hunt and for the forest and fields in which you walk. Immerse yourself in the outdoor experience. It will cleanse your soul and make you a better person." - Fred Bear
I grew up on small game and upland birds. Today I seem to be so taken with deer in the fall and turkey in the spring that I do not make time for other hunting. I kind of miss it.
The best hunt of last year (and that included taking a big archery buck at close range) was taking my 7 yr. old daughter on a squirrel hunt. I should do more of that.
