whats the differance between Illuminator Fiber Optic and Adjustable Fiber Optic and whats better for my deer hunting needs?

do you have any blackpowder gear?if not the kits are the way to go.I bought the wolf package yrs ago and i m still pleased with it.the buckhorn stock looks nice.try holding/shouldering both that would be how i decided.good luck its a lot of fun and you get to hunt more too

The kit is definitly the way to go.  Personally I'd go with the break open gun.  Are you committed to the CVA?  Traditions has good little kit gun at walmart that is a good buy as well.  Personally I like the Traditions over the CVA  either are great guns.

Yeah, but for a few more bucks you can buy an optima or a traditions pursuit. Both of those rifles are a lot cheaper than T/C or Knights, but they've been getting great reviews for several years now.

Do some digging on the Traditions....I swear my local walmart has a starting kit that has it all for less than 300 and i wanna say its 229 but i don't remember...

i got my CVA wolf at gander MT  it was the whole kit with scope and it was 229.no complaints whatsoever.why spend more if ya dont have to.I didnt realize the buckhorn was an inline ,i was looking at the stock.the break barrel is a lot easier to load and clean IMHO

Joel's right on... if you don't want to spring for an optima or a pursuit... then go for a CVA Wolf or a Traditions Yukon
