Replacement parts for bows.

Postby twotone3 » Mon Jun 16, 2008 7:25 pm

I have currently been having issues trying to find somewhere that can fix the steel cable on my Fred Bear bow.  I have called the local archery shops and every one says there is nothing they can do with the steel cable.  So I was wondering if anyone knows of a place where I could get a replacement cable.  I've tried searching the web but I'm still not having luck.  I was hoping maybe someone knows of somewhere that I'm just not finding.  I've become really accustomed to the bow and don't want to have to buy a new one if I can avoid it.  Thanks for any help possible.

I know the make is Bear but what model is the bow?

Steel cables are so outdated on adult bows that you either have to go to the manufacturer or find a proshop that can make them for you.

All is not lost though, Apple Archery sells the equipment to make them yourself.

I would call them and they can tell you what you need, not all their products are listed on the website.

Check out http://www.escaladesports.com/ these are the people do all of the repair work for Bear archery.  You will probably have to send them your bow, however they will fix it and send it back.
