Youth season

Any one taking a young one out this weekend? Me and my daughter are going both days. This will be her first deer hunt. Wish her luck.

Yes, I was going bow hunting. Glad you mentioned that it was youth weekend. I had forgotten. All hunters need to wear hunter's orange...don't think I'll go now.

I'd rather not get shot, but that's not the reason I'll pass on going. I'd feel pretty conspicuous in orange at close range. Besides, my wife kind of wanted me to help babysit our grandson, so it's a win/win for me. At 2 yrs old, he is more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Well she did it picked off a small doe at 4:30 this afternoon it was her first deer and I'm pretty sure I was more pumped than she was. She made me proud.
