Youth season

Well she did it picked off a small doe at 4:30 this afternoon it was her first deer and I'm pretty sure I was more pumped than she was. She made me proud.

Congrats, Its great isnt it.
My son shot an 8pt. Sat. morning. It was awsome.
My sons friend, Was a first timer this year, i was hoping he would get a deer. he had a 10 pointer 30 yards from the blind
he was hunting out of,( Witch is made of wood) When he shot, He hit the wood below the shooting window and missed
the deer. He was a little bummed. This morning he had a little 6 pointer in the same spot but passed on it. I was supprised
with his choice, But i'm ok with it.

Congrats to your son. You're right it is awesome. I think it was a better feeling than when I tagged my first deer.

That's great Motorbreaker. Good for your son.
I know that some hunters don't like the youth hunts because of abuses, but despite some of that, I think that it's great opportunity for the kids. I'm all for it.
