Winchester Model 70

These guns were suppose to be available around June.  Has anybody seen or shot one?

Have not had my hands on one, but the guys at work were talking about a new model of Savage that is supposed to be their answer to the model 70 Winchester for less money. They were on sale at Bass Pro last week. Supposed to be a very accurate, no frills rifle for less money.

I own a Savage now, it is accurate.  Bought it before the accutrigger came out.
 
Really would like a Winchester though - Was thinking the new model 70 might be a good option.

I have a Model 70 from 2001. I have it in 270WSM. I like it a lot. I think it's the shadow or stealth model or something. It has the black composite stock. It shoots great. 1" groups at 100yds with some of the hand loads my Dad came up with.

The trigger has been revamped and you can get an overmolded stock.
It's still a model 70, but not what you are used to.

The one that I have, it had no creep in the trigger but the pull was way too much. I think it was about 8.5 lb and I had it dropped to just a hair over 3. Don't have to strangle the life out of it anymore.

 Can't say Iv'e seen them, but I haven't looked either. One of the guys at work was talking of getting one but I think he also has just read about them. I drive right by Cabela's and Bass Pro on my way to work & back but it's amazing how little time I spend there since the new wore off. I might swing in to look for one tomorrow though. I also have a neat little gun shop not far from the house. I might drop in and see if he has any.
