Mount Pics

JPH's idea, but let's see some mounts. Don't care if it is full, shoulder, European, or rack only. Anybody with a doe mounted? Post that as well. I would like to see what's out there. Maybe get an idea or two for my next mount. Cart before the horse?

Here is a pic of the room my wife lets me have. Notice the crazy wall paint? It used to be my kids playroom, and we let them have their way on the walls with their paint sets. I have just been too busy(lazy) to repaint it since I took it over.

The top rack is a rack that I had re-mounted. they been in the family for a long time. I used to use them as rattling antlers.

Thanks pg. Last year i wanted to try the euro mount. I like it alot, might be the more economical way for me to display the bucks I shoot since shoulder mounts seem to be going up in price. I do want a shoulder mount someday, but im waiting for a big boy for that. I have a couple other racks. Those ones I put the effort into mounting. Im getting the big mount on top scored this year at the whitetail classic. Just for fun. P&Y for sure.

STAMPEDE!!!!! nice picture! All my racks are screwed to the walls of our deer camp. Nothing fancy. We just use them as coat hooks, and hat racks. and bow racks. Each one of us knows which one are ours, but they don't matter much. They are more like souvieneers of the journey, than a destination on it's own. If I think about it next season, I will snap a few pictures. A couple of our hunters are well off, but I don't believe any of us have ever had a mount done. Though come to think of it, the guy who sometimes processes my deer meat also does taxadermy, and he has the shoulder mount on one side of the wall, and the rump on the other side of the wall, and tells kids, that the deer was running fast, came through, and got stuck!
