I don't mean to get critical but that's an albino doe. I don't know what state you are in but in Iillinois it is illegal to shoot one.

charlie & buckmastr - WOW and WOW! If I can't get some ideas from those pics, I'm a fool.

Wow! There is some beautiful work out there.

I've got another shoulder mount in the works so I'm going to have to redo my display. You guys have given me some great ideas!

There sure are some nice mounts posted. Bukmastr, i'de say you have things under control. That's impressive!!

Here's a picture of my kitchen counter with some of my memories. Also a buck that's at the taxidermist now. Can't wait for the call.

I shot that one in Wisconsin... Its illeagle here too. But they made it legal a few years back within the CWD zone. As soon as they made it legal I targeted that doe in a public marsh in S.E. Wisconsin.

I am finding it dificult to find anyone on this site who I would not be willing to hunt with. Dedication to craft, perserversance, and skill seem to be the norm. :)
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

I want to be like you guys when I grow up...

Seriously.

Well, I should be able to post pics of my first shoulder mount next month...

But these are some of the better racks of central Florida public land bucks I killed in the past 4 years:

Looks like you have a good start SwampLife. I see one 10pt. Looks like your gene pool consists of mostly 8pt bucks. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I was just wondering what the primary food scorce is for your deer herd. Have you ever aged any of your deer?
