Welcome indeed. We are a scattered lot and as close as your keyboard. 
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

I live near the Navarino/Nichols area. Hunt on 30 acres were I reside. Also hunt in Minnesota and Michigan.
Our area is still shotgun but with the continuing resolutions advancing, soon we will be able to use shotgun, rifle or muzzleloader during the firearm season statewide.
