Boy, there is soooo much I have to say. I will leave it at this, however. No rationalization, from either political viewpoint, is going to convince me that it is okay to compare The President Of The United States to Adolph Hitler. It was wrong when they did it to Bush, and it is wrong now.

No, actually, a huge problem in the country today is the curse of political correctness. Free speech means just that, the freedom to state what`s on our minds, and to actually call something out for what it is.

You may disagree as to whether this person in the Oval Office is either a socialist, or a marxist, but because you dislike that some people see him as such, doesn`t mean they have no right to express their viewpoint.

I personally have zero respect for this thug in the White House, and I agree completely with his being compared to those who disdain freedom and stand against real American values.

For one thing, nobody is trying to silence your freedom of speech. I'm only saying that I would not buy so much as a bullet from the company in question because I consider their ad to be an insult to my intelligence and to the office of Commander in Chief of the United States. Worse yet, I think the ad trivializes the horrors committed by the real murderers depicted next to Obama.

You are free to disagree with him, as do I. You are even free to depict him a Hitler, Stalin or even Satan for that matter. You have the right to be shrill, angry, ignorant or anti-American yourself if you want. I consider the ad to be all three, but I accept their right to advertize their product with stupid ads. But, just like the flat tire ad with the big busted model D&DH ran a year or so ago, don't expect free thinking people to sit quietly or spend money on such a company. You have a right to free speech, and so do we. This company has the right to sell guns, and we have the right not to buy them.

My only advice is that you avoid making such comparisons to those who actually survived real genocide or the wars to stop them. Or at least do so at your own risk. My Gramp is gone now but he spent 1944-45 eyeball to eyeball with real Nazi's. He'd slowed down a lot by the time I was grown, but I'd hate to see what he would have done if someone tried to make a buck off of him by playing the Nazi card.

Thug? Obama? I think real thugs everywhere would either be insulted or bent over laughing at this guy being called a thug.

Words like "thug", "disdain freedom", and "stand against real American values" are why I vote for Hyperbole as our biggest political obstacle these days. The tossing around of over the top extreme language from both sides is getting ridiculous(thank the media for that). 40% of this country is conservative, 40% is liberal. The 20% in the middle do not view the liberals as any more anti-American than they view the conservatives. If this next election does not end up being around 52%-48%, I will be very surprised. The last President to get 60% of the popular vote was Nixon, so even then 40% of the country voted differently. If you are one of the 40%ers on either sides, please realize your views do not reflect a majority in this country even if you surround yourself with like-minded people. There are just as many people in this country who disagree with you as there are who agree. As long as both of you keep characterizing each other with such extreme language, this country is going to continue its tailspin.

Marxist, socialist, communist, whatever....This horse's hid end, while doing either by intent, or because he's dumber than a box of rocks, is DESTROYING America as we know(knew) it. I've had a business for THIRTY FOUR YEARS that is part of the building industy, and I'm finally throwing in the towel. And for those of you that still have decent paying jobs, BEWARE!!! Your industry is next. This recession/depression is only getting started. Many people don't understand that the next shoe is about to drop.....when Obama's health care fully kicks in. Then the rest of you will feel what we in the hosuing industry have been going through. That one bill alone will be a job killer of epic proportions. The sooner this SOB is gone the better. If you have a home, DO NOT count on it to be part of your retirement. Those days are over.

You call it hyperbole, I call it reality. When you start seeing everything you've worked and bled for for 3 decades turn to crap, then you'll change your tune my friend.

I sincerely hope Obama loses, but I am highly doubtful. The reason? I think the 20% is getting very turned off by the extreme language of the right. I think they are not impressed with the "my way or the highway" attitude. I know I am tired of it. Not enough to vote for Obama, but if enough independents feel stronger about it than me, look for another 4 years. It will be a shame, but little things like comparing Obama to Hitler, while making the staunch conservatives applaud, will turn off independents and could be costly. I call THAT reality.

Understand, I am not even questioning your views. I imagine I agree with many of them. I am just pointing out why I think extreme language could cost the republicans this election.

WW, my heart goes out to you for your suffering. These are very hard times and I am no fan of this administration. It has hit us all, but some worse than others. I do not blame you for your anger.

My only real issue is that for whatever faults he may have, marching millions of innocent people into camps to be murdered is not one of them. The comparison goes too far.
