The rut appears to be heating up in SE Oklahoma. Starting to see more scrapes and deer during mid day. Opening day of muzzle loader season was a great day to be in the woods. Took this nice buck near a river bottom just before sun down. We are heading out to bow hunt this weekend. My goal is to match this one. More to come.

Well, bow season saw three shooters. Unfortunately my greenhorn bowhunter status remains as I shot over the back of two and under the third. All three were clean misses. More to come.

OK, you missed, sorry to hear it , but it happens to all of us. WHY did you miss? have you solved the problem yet? Miss judge the range, faulty equiptment, sights off, shooting through brush, too windy, not enough practice, moveing targets? What happened? Can I/we help in any way?
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.
