First sheds for the 2012 year. Found them 12-28-11. They were only 4ft apart. Saw him 12-27-11 and he still had both on. Have a trail cam pic of him earlier in the season.

This guy was a late dropper in past years, as far as into March.

Nice split G-1's. Seems I bit early to drop, at least it would be in Ohio. Good find.

Nice find charlie. If he was normaly a late dropper, He must have ran himself ragged to drop that earily.

thats great I have always wanted to take a week and head up north to do some shed hunting I believe that would be fun.

You should try it. What about the places you hunt? There should be some places by you. It can be fun, but it can also be very, very, frustrating. You could walk for days and miles and not find anything, and then find one side of something, and keep on looking not knowing if someone else found it or there is the possibility that the deer is still carrying it. There has been times that I have watched and kept track of bucks that have carried half a side for a week.

Charlie I have looked and looked down here for sheds on the riverswamp and have never found one. I have found a skull with a horns lol I read about you guys up north finding sheds then go one step further to find the matching side like you did thats fantastic! Do you use a dog to help you find them or just scout?

Shed antlers found 2011. I started hunting a new area november 2011. first day i found a set of sheds with two tines side by side. Continued to find sheds throughout the hunting season. 8 antlers in all . The smallest antler was a fresh shed that fell off after deer ran through swamp.looking forward to 2012 season!!

smallest baby shed antler i ever found 12-31-11 nice form for such a small antler
