You bet I'm ready to go. I don't know if I'm gonna head out opening morning, but I'll for sure be out opening night hunting near 1 of our food sources.

I'm thinking I'll set up by an early-season apple tree I know about.

I've been working all spring and summer getting my food plots ready and scouting/putting stands up so you bet I'm ready.  Just a matter of deciding if I'm going to head out opening morning and if I'm going to hunt on or close to a food plot or on acorns...

Weather looks kind of bad with all the rain.  Not that I won't be out, I need to shoot a couple of antlerless deer.  I've been seeing a lot of deer out in the fields at night even with the warmer weather moving back in.  Even with the bad weather it will be nice to get out into woods.
